ICONI is the Russian academic journal of a humanitarian profile. Its title “Iskusstvo. Kultura. Obrazovanie. Nauchnye issledovaniya” [“Art. Culture. Education. Scholarly Research”] 18+ ISSN 2658-4824 (Print), ISSN 2713-3095 (Online) reflects the direction of its content and its primary goal – publication of interdisciplinary research in the field of humanities. The journal is published by a professional editorial board with endowed more than ten years of experience in publishing the journal “Music Scholarship / Problemy Muzykal'noj Nauki”, which is included in the list of peer reviewed periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission, the first quartile of the Scopus database and the Web of Science Core Collection (ESCI). The international standards for manuscripts, complied with by the editors, and the regulations of formatting data for modern scientometric databases make it possible for scholars and institutions of higher education to improve constantly their professional ratings and citation indices.
ICONI is a journal of free and open access. Its unified editorial board and editorial staff is comprised of leading scholars from Russia and other countries. The edition is carried out through the means of combined financial contributions and individual donations by authors. The journal is published in print and electronic versions.
The latter makes possible to demonstrate audio and video materials, as well as to share cultural information on our website.
